Among_the_HiddenWelcome to Week 4 of the Online Teen Book Club for Among the Hidden by author Margaret Peterson Haddix. This is the first book in the Shadow Children series, which is made up of seven books. Week 4: Chapters 19-24

1. What idea does Luke put in his father’s head about making money during the cold months?

2. Imagine moving away from your family and pretending to be someone else, just so you could have a normal life. Describe what that might be like.

3. How can you tell Luke is worried about Jen’s plans for the rally?

4. Who do you think is more brave, Jen or Luke? Explain your answer.

    3. He is worried about the rally because the book says that he doesn’t want to go to the rally since there are the population police in that area and they might be arrested or killed because they are shadow kids.
